Basically, you add two lines to the head tags, the first with "icon" and the second one as above with "shortcut icon". Both reference the same url with your .ico file. Hope this helps everyone! I got stumbled, and I am sure this is the problem with everyone, speed reading! LOL! This is the text era, and we read and do everything in shorthand. The thing I think that people are missing is this: The file is ending in ICO. I even did mine on Explorer and I am usual Diehard Firefox Fan.
