Not sure if exactly on topic but I have a problem where the Paypal billing page says: “Create an account or Log in” As in the customer has to create a paypal account or log in to paypal before they can finish the checkout. I have my store set to allow checkout without a paypal account. This supposedly only happens sometimes depending on a filter at paypal. That is it is a risk measure applied a given percent of the time. I want to know how often and Paypal support wont say.

Martin,

A person from PayPal contacted me after I forwarded your comment. They could not find your account based on your domain. Could you post the email account associated with your PayPal account or other info to help them contact you to the blog--you could also just send to store-blog-feedback at yahoo-inc.com if you do not wish to post to the comments. I'm guessing your business name on the account may be different from your domain and that could be part of the problem--just a guess on my part but seen it before.

[Update]--The PayPal representative informed me they were able to locate your account so you should be contacted by them to investigate your issue.

Martin,

I will pass along your comments to the Yahoo! Search Marketing support team so they can investigate why you did not receive the $100 credit. You can also log in to your Search Marketing account and file a ticket as well.

As for getting credit for your PayPal Express Checkout transactions, those will need to come from PayPal as there is no Yahoo! component to that part of the program--hence nothing we can investigate on our side though I will also be sure to pass along your comment to our contact there. For questions related to PayPal, you can call: 1 866-648-5866 if you are unable to get your account representative to answer questions.

I signed up for this program as soon as it came out. My Paypal account manager approved everything on my website after a long conference call to address some changes she wanted to see. After having the shopping cart added to my yahoo search marketing, I never got my $100 credit and have NEVER seen an express checkout credit. I have emailed my account manager 3-4 times over the last 3 months about this and have NEVER gotten a response. Please let us know what more we need to do to get this fully setup as we are starting to get really pissed off at Paypal and are looking to run almost exclusively with GoogleCheckout and Bank of America if this is no t resolved soon.

Paul,

Everything is working now. I spoke with my Yahoo accounting rep and he told me I need to add the PayPal button to my cart page in addition to the ship/bill page. Thanks for all your help!

Zvi,

You should be getting an email from a Customer Care representative shortly explaining what the problem was and when your ads will appear.

Paul,

I did exactly what you said, "signing in to your Yahoo! Search Marketing account and using the contact us link to open a ticket for this issue". I have not heard a thing? I did this on June 28th. Is there anything else I can do?

Zvi,

I would recommend signing in to your Yahoo! Search Marketing account and using the contact us link to open a ticket for this issue. The Customer Care team for Search Marketing should be able to answer why the PayPal icon is not appearing for your Sponsored Search ads.

I enabled Yahoo Express Checkout via my Yahoo! Store over 10 days ago. I signed up for the Yahoo! PayPal Checkout program at the same time. Is there any issue? The Business URL is correctly listed as my domain also. The "PayPal Express Cart" is not yet showing up in my Yahoo Search Marketing ads yet?

Thanks
