Following the last conference day of the Internet Retailer 2007 conference, we hosted a party for Yahoo! merchants, Yahoo! developers and Yahoo! Small Business employees that attended the conference.

I can speak for all in saying we had a blast getting to meet some of you for the first time or chat with you for the 50th time—after all some merchants have been around for almost ten years at Yahoo!. We enjoyed talking with you, listening to your success stories, brainstorming some ways to improve your stores, and hearing about the problems you face that we can be a partner in helping to solve.

Albert DiPadova of DueMaternity.com, which sells stylish maternity clothes, and Shirley Tan of American Bridal, which not surprisingly sells wedding favors, were two of the many Yahoo! merchants that attended.

Thanks to all merchants and developers for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend. Your entrepreneurial spirit is an inspiration to us and knowing the people behind these stores motivates us to keep on innovating and improving.
