In the spirit of eating our own dog food (and I never understood why that phrase couldn’t have been something tastier like “eating our own crème brulee”) the Yahoo! Gear store has been re-launched (and renamed the Yahoo! Company Store) and is now live.

Special thanks go out to all the Yahoos who worked hard to make sure the company store launched in style and to Yahoo! Merchant Solutions developer FastPivot for creating a store that reflects the Yahoo! brand.

Woo-Hoo! The Yahoo! travel mugs are great. License frames are cool too. My Jeep never looked better! Frisbees, stickers, beach towels and even a purple Yahoo dog collar and leash for going out on the town Saturday nights.

It’s a shame I can’t use my Yahoo! credit card points to buy here…. wait, that service got canceled.

I’ll start working on my wish list.

Site looks great!

Congratulation on the debut! Yet I personally would rather see more environmental friendly products or things that would educate people about protecting our planet!

Yahoo! does a ton of work for environmental causes. Today all campuses held a Bike Fair to promote bicycling as a clean commute alternative. Yahoo! has also worked recently with 18 seconds.org to promote CFL lighting. These are just two recent examples of the Yahoo! commitment to the environment.
