Tune in to Yahoo! Small Business
Thursday, July 29th, 2010
Today, Yahoo! Small Business hit the road — virtually at least. Together, Merchant Solutions product lead Paul Boisvert, and Yahoo! merchant Melissa Murphy from Crazy for Bargains, online retailer of novelty pajamas, slippers, bathrobes, and sleepwear, kept over 3 million people company during their morning commutes, going on more than 20 radio stations to tell listeners about the great services available through the Yahoo! Small Business platform. Radio listeners in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Richmond, Miami, Cincinnati, and other cities across the country heard tips from Paul on how to start an online business through Yahoo!, while Melissa shared her experiences with starting a Yahoo! store in her home, and growing it into a business that generates more than a million dollars each year.
Hear what they had to say during an interview with WBEV-AM in Milwaukee.

Agreed, its time that we had some new alternatives for small business clients. Virtual stores are skyrocketing and we can see the demand from fresh small biz owner clients, just entering into the online world after a period “in the darkness”, lol. Expect great growth.

Well done guys!
It is awesome to participate in the growth of so many businesses that provide a great and flexible lifestyle for so many of our clients!
It is also good to highlight that Yahoo isn’t JUST for small business but it even scales up to support large players like http://www.shop3m.com and http://www.worldsoccershop.com who also look to Yahoo! for their online store hosting.
In this economy, more and more folks are choosing to take the reins of their future from the hands of an uncertain corporate world to chart their own destiny. We are proud to be a partner with their success stories and with Yahoo!
