During summer 2011, we released an incremental publishing feature to a limited number of pilot stores. Now, we’re happy to announce that this publishing feature will be released to all Yahoo! Merchant Solutions and Yahoo! Store accounts in phases today (April 4), and on April 10.

This new feature makes a change to how you publish your store, and the publish buttons that you will see. The new "Publish Changes" button in Store Editor provides an incremental page generation capability for your online store, allowing you to decrease total page generation and publish time by generating only the pages you’ve made changes to since your last store publish. The "Publish All" button replaces the former "Publish" button. This option generates and publishes all of your store pages.

Please note that the first publish attempted after this feature is enabled will require a full site generation and publish. As a result, this publish is likely to be slightly longer than you may be accustomed to. This is expected behavior and should be a one-time occurrence.

If your store was among the pilot stores for this feature, there are no changes to how you’ve been publishing. A full site generation and publish will not be required if you have already done so since this feature was enabled for your store.
