We’re happy to let you know about several new UPS® shipping features that were recently released for your Yahoo! store. If you’re using integrated UPS functionality with your Yahoo! Merchant Solutions or Yahoo! Store account, you can now offset carbon emissions with UPS carbon neutral shipping, schedule UPS pickups, and use standard list rates to calculate shipping costs.
If you’re not yet using integrated UPS functionality with your store, learn how to get started.
UPS carbon neutral shipping
UPS carbon neutral offers the option to offset the carbon emissions associated with the transportation of your shipments. It lets you demonstrate your commitment to reducing climate impact, and enables you and your package recipients to share in that commitment.
The UPS carbon neutral shipping option is available when creating an order shipment using the UPS Shipping Tool in Shipping Manager. Learn more about this new feature and its benefits.
The new UPS Pickups Tool makes scheduling a pickup from within Shipping Manager easy and convenient. Create package pickup requests from your home or office, create pickup requests for packages you want returned from your customers, view rates for pickups before scheduling a pickup request, view the status of pickup requests, and cancel pending pickup requests, all from within Shipping Manager.
The next time you’re in Shipping Manager, look for the new "Manage UPS Pickups" menu. Learn more about this new feature.
UPS Standard List Rates
UPS Standard List Rates has been added as a new UPS account type in Shipping Manager. If you’d like UPS Standard List Rates to be used for calculating shipping costs for buyers during checkout and/or to display these rates in the UPS Shipping Tool as you process shipments, you can now choose this option by going to the Settings section of Shipping Manager, locating the "Account Type" option, and selecting "Standard List Rates Account" from the drop-down list.
Yahoo! and UPS have worked closely together to bring you these enhancements to the integrated UPS functionality. We share one simple goal of finding ways to help you run your business more efficiently and effectively.
